Idaho Farming

It's farming season here in Idaho. The big crops here southern Idaho are sugar beets, potatoes, wheat, and alfalfa (for dairy cow feed). I've included a couple of shots. The first is potatoes in bloom. You can see a wheel-line in the foreground. This is an irrigation system. The water runs through the pipe and hte wheels allow the pipe to be rolled to a new spot in the field.

The second is a small combine cutting alfalfa.
