It’s been a long time coming and I’m very excited to be getting this new design and content out to the public. I still don’t have all of my content back up but am feverishly working on it.

Many people ask about book recommendations. There are many great books out there and I am starting to list my favorites in my bookstore section.

I have the pleasure of writing the ‘Novice Nibblings’ column for Carving Magazine.I started this website to help me get information to other carvers. Over time the site has grown to include some of my other pursuits. Besides carving my family and I like to raise some of our own food and have acquired laying hens, bees, and assorted fruits and vegetables. This new site focuses on carving and these other activities.
